How to use hygienic opening?

Why do you have a hole in the bottom of your shapewear?

The hole is a 'hygienic opening' for you to go to the toilet without pull up and down the high waisted shapewear. Open it with your two hands from the front and back to make the hole bigger.

I'm between sizes, which one should I choose?

If you are first time Shapewear users and in between sizes based on your measurements and our guide, be sure to size up for the EXTRA FIRM products.
If you prefer a more relaxed fit and feel and the product is not designed with this fit, be sure to also size up.

Should I go down a shapewear size to look slimmer?

Functional lingerie should be worn in the right size, never smaller. Smaller sizes will cause the remaining body tissue to go somewhere else, creating undesired volumes and bulges that will certainly compromise the outfit.

Do high-waisted pieces roll down?

IT DEPENDS.

Shapewear will only roll down if it is in the wrong size. Our pieces have silicon bands in the Control and Emana® Collections.

Our Control Skin Collection is equipped with lined mini galvanised steel fins to prevent rolling.

How do I keep my shapewear from rolling down?

1. Your shapewear may roll up or down because it's too small and therefore too tight on your body. Please check if the size correct for you. Choose your size, Never Smaller. For personal fit advise, please send your height, weight, bust, waist, and hip measurements to hello@plieaustralia.com.au

2. For Double Layer Plie products, you need to wash it first to make the fabric more flexible if it roll down in the first use.

3. Make sure you wear the high waist product high enough that almost touch your bra.

Can Pliē shapewear help me with period pain?

Yes. The compression from Pliē Shapewear will help to relieve the period pain and also improve blood circulation.

Will shapewear make me slimmer?

Pliē’s lingerie is made with state-of- the-art technology for shaping strategic spots, thus reducing up to one waist and hip size. Some of our shapewear may provide a waist reduction of 1 to 3 inches while wearing them when being worn regularly.

Can shapewear help me with back pain?

Yes. High waisted shapewear gives you support to your lower back. It corrects your posture while you are standing or sitting down. That way, it helps to relieve your back pain. We suggest you look for Emana® High Waist Shorts.

Can shapewear make me lose weight?

No underwear has such ability. You will be able to lose weight with a healthy diet, physical activities and aesthetic treatments, among others.

However, SHAPEWEAR does help to shape your body by defining your curves, enhancing your strengths and smoothing your figure. Plus, the compression can help to hold your hunger or make you feel full after small eating portion.

Does shapewear hide flaccidity and cellulite?

Bodysuits, as well as mid-thighs and mid-thighs bodysuits, provide a more even contouring, thus concealing skin imperfections. On the word hand, high-waisted or double-layered panties will keep your tummy super flat and comfortable. The Emana® Control line also activates micro-circulation and conceals cellulite signs. 

What is the difference between Emana®High Waist Shorts and Control High Waist Medium Shorts?

Promotes blood circulations and metabolism - as well as reduces cellulite and stretch mark appearance. All day compression in all the right places.

Control Medium High Waist Shorts offers Firm compression, cover more thigh and flatten your tummy a bit more than Emana®. The shorts length is longer than Emana®.

Medium shorts length is above the knee, suitable for taller people.

Is shapewear designed for big girls?

Any woman, regardless of her size, who wants to wear tight clothes or thinner fabrics will have a much better result when wearing a no-show lingerie that will shape her curves and, above all, assure her that everything is in the right place.

Do I need to buy a bigger size towards the end of my pregnancy?

Not necessarily. Our maternity wear is specifically designed to grow with you and your baby as your pregnancy progresses. There is pocket in tummy area that can go bigger following the growth of the baby.

However, each body is different. So if you feel you grow a lot during your pregnancy, feel free to consult with our Customer Service at hello@plieaustralia.com.au prior to your purchase.

Is it safe to wear Pliē Maternity Wear during pregnancy?

Yes. Wearing light graduated maternity wear is safe throughout your entire pregnancy. The flexible and soft fabric supports your growing belly without confining it.

Does Pliē Maternity support my growing tummy?

Definitely. Our most loved maternity high waist leggings and shorts give gradual supports around the belly, to help support the weight of your growing baby, prevent lower back pain and pelvic joint pain, as well as improve your posture.

What are the benefits of Pliē Maternity collection?

Our maternity leggings and medium length shorts help to avoid friction between the legs and put compression on the legs to stimulate the blood flow, up from the leg towards the hearts. This will help to prevent or minimise varicose veins formation.

How do you ship with Australia?

We post Australia Wide via Australia Post and Aramex. A tracking number will be provided as soon as your order is dispatched, and you will get notification to your email.

Can I pick up my order?

No, we don't allow local pickup.

I've changed my mind, can I return the items?

Yes. If you changed your mind, simply return your Pliē product in its original condition and packaging within 30 days of purchase to receive Pliē Store Credit. It should be unworn and unwashed with the tags intact.


This only applies to full-priced purchases and the return postage will be at your expense. Your store credit is valid for 3 years from the date of issue, which gives you plenty of time to fall in love with another Pliē product.

How do I use discount code?

Simply enter your discount code at checkout and click on “Apply”. Be sure that there are no additional spaces before or after the discount code.

Please note that only one discount code is valid per order. A discount code cannot be combined with an additional discount code.

What does it mean when I order a product that is on 'Pre-Order'?

A ‘pre-order’ is an item of high demand that is on backorder and is in transit to us from our manufacturer.

Pre-order items have an ‘estimated release date’ which is the date given to us by the shipper for when it will arrive to us. The ‘estimated release date’ is advertised on the listing.

Stock might arrive earlier or later than the given ‘estimated’ date. Customs and transit delays are unforeseen and unpredictable but sometimes do occur which can result in the delay of items arriving.

Orders containing a pre-order item will be held until the pre-order item is in stock, the entire order will then be sent in the next day’s dispatch. If you would like your other items sent earlier please purchase in two separate transactions.

Pliē product that I received is faulty, what should I do?

As much as we keep up with our standard, unfortunately, these things could happen. Nobody’s perfect, right?

Please send us a photo of your faulty Pliē product and explains the issue to hello@plieaustralia.com.au within 30 days of your purchase.

Then, you will receive further information on how to return the item to us together with your proof of purchase.

Once we’ve inspected your Pliē product and confirm it as faulty we will issue you with a replacement.

What if I put the wrong address?

Hurry! Email us to hello@plieaustralia.com.au with your order number and supply us with the correct order.

We can assist you in changing the address if the order hasn't been fulfilled. However, if the order has been fulfilled and dispatched, we are sorry that we cannot assist any further unless the product is being returned to sender.

If the package is being Returned To Sender by Australia Post, we can do redelivery with additional shipping fee which is to be paid by the Customer / Recipient.

Can I have refund for the item(s) I bought at the Expo?

We always give special discounts as well as free fitting and consultation at the Expo. Therefore, we cannot do any refund for the item(s) bought at the Expo, however, we can offer an exchange of product.

The shipping cost incurred for returning item(s) for exchange would be at your expense and it would not be reimbursed by Pliē Australia.
